One Hand Piano 2 is a book for pianists and piano students who want to have fun whilst giving their hands a real work out. All the pieces can be played by one hand alone.

Barbara Arens, the composer who put it together, is such a creative, engaging composer, she really captures the excitement of musical adventure, and that's expressed both in the musicality of the pieces and also the creative suggestions that Barbara gives for pianists who want to individualise the compositions, my personal favourite being "try playing the accompaniment with your elbow"!

My own piece is based on a beautiful old Welsh folk tune — it's a real joy to play. The book also features music by Clemens Christian Poetzsch, Nikolas Sideris and Alison Mathews, all very fine composers!
