New track: Dust of Snow (with Mari Kanki)
My latest single, "Dust of Snow" is out now.
This one is inspired by the poem of the same name by Robert Frost, and was written in collaboration with a friend of mine, Mari Kanki. Mari has never released a piece of music before, so this is her debut!
The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.
This piece seems to have really appealed to many of the members of a piano teaching Facebook group that I'm involved in; they gave it a really enthusiastic response. I guess that's because it's relatively simple to play and wintry in style without being Christmas themed. Anyhow, if you'd like to play it yourself, the sheets are available on my store.
